Recommend for a short staycation
Peaceful resort, breathtaking view, with stunning mountain vistas from our large balcony, along with reliable free Wi-Fi in public areas that kept us connected during our stay.
Everything was exceptional.

The hotel offers a unique escape from the noise, nestled in a peaceful area close to local attractions, making it a decent spot to unwind after exploring. The family room with a mountain view provides a nice ambiance for relaxing evenings, albeit with minor setbacks.
The experience had its share of downsides. for instance, the mattress in one room was mouldy, diminishing sleep quality, and breakfast options didn’t meet expectations—with unripe bananas being a particular letdown. dining options were limited. the promised on-site restaurant was just a food delivery service with subpar preparations, including poorly cooked prawns. Hot water flow was inconsistent, reflecting the hotel's more rustic appeal than luxury accommodations, though it does deliver on certain comforts.

great walking distance to landmarks and peaceful park views
the peaceful surroundings made it easy to unwind after visiting nearby attractions like the stunning nine arch bridge, and the quick walk to little adam's peak was a perfect way to enjoy the fresh air while exploring the area.

The view from our balcony was absolutely breathtaking! The owner was super helpful, providing free rides and suggestions. Just a few insects showed up, but other than that, it was a lovely experience! 🌄

missingWrote a review on Oct 31mould mattresspoor dining
i was nearly convinced this place deserved a decent review, but alas, the mattress reeked of mould, making my nights unbearable. And forget about dining. the microwaved prawns were audibly protesting their overcooking. when i asked for a room upgrade due to these inconveniences, i received a pleasant smile instead of any sympathy. truly disappointing, to say the least.

we loved staying at the dream catcher! its so peaceful and beautiful! the views from our balcony were just wow! the staff were super friendly, and the owner even helped us with rides and tips, which was amazin. food was really good too, especially the sri lankan potato curry! 🤤
but watch out for the tuk tuk sounds that can be annoying sometimes, and be sure to keep the balcony door shut at night or you might get some lizard guests.

we loved our stay here! ! the rooms are high up and they have interconnected sliding doors, the wind sweeps through and it is just dreamy. the views are outstanding, especially from our family room with mountain view. wifi was excellent! the food was so fab, authentic sri lankan dishes with large portions. special shoutout to the chef for his amazing potato curry!
only minor issue is it’s a bit far from the town center so tuk tuk can be hard to find sometimes, and the noise from tuk tuks can get annoying.

What a gem! Stunning views from the balcony, and the singing birds made my mornings magical. Plus, catching the blue train from my room was a delightful surprise!
But watch out for the rhythmic tuk-tuks that made quite the entrance! And I might've made a few unexpected lizard pals during the night—oops!
